Career and experience:

Since gaining her BSc in Physiotherapy from the University of East London in 2004, Harriet has worked as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist for a number of hospitals and trusts. In 2018, she became the Senior Occupational Health Therapist for St Andrews Healthcare in Northampton, and set up the occupational health physiotherapy service for 4,000 employees across four sites. She offers a full range of occupational health services, including return-to-work guidance, musculoskeletal assessments of repetitive strain and work-related injuries, and workstation assessments. Her musculoskeletal physiotherapy services include treating back, neck, knee, ankle and shoulder pain, as well as fall prevention and frailty rehabilitation. She offers initial assessments followed by advice focusing on rehabilitation and exercise to manage the problem. She is also an experienced yoga and pilates teacher.
